Eyes on Yellowstone is made possible by Canon

The Eyes On Yellowstone is made possible by Canon program is an ecological research and teaching collaboration between Canon U.S.A., Inc. and the Yellowstone Park Foundation. It was established to fund important scientific research and break new ground in conservation, endangered species protection, and the application of cutting-edge science and technology essential for the management of park wildlife and ecosystems. It also increases public access, via the Internet, to the world’s first national park.

Canon’s support for Eyes on Yellowstone continues to fund projects helping to unlock the mysteries of Yellowstone and capture the eyes and hearts of millions of people around the world. Around three million people visit Yellowstone in person each year, and millions more visit Yellowstone's official website. In addition to this Greater Yellowstone Science Learning Center website, Canon has supported Yellowstone's educational electronic field trips at www.windowsintowonderland.org.

Eyes on Yellowstone continues to help Yellowstone scientists and managers collect never-before-obtained scientific data through various projects. The results of these studies have helped educate and inspire millions of people each year about the unique and diverse nature of Yellowstone, enriched the visitor experience, real or virtual, and encouraged the public to become more involved in park and environmental protection.
