The Chico Hot Springs workshop on integrating science and natural resources management was the second in a series of Inventory and Monitoring (I&M) workshops focused on this topic hosted by the I&M Program in the Intermountain Region. The first workshop, “Integrating Monitoring Results into Park Natural Resource Management,” was held on December 6-8, 2005 in Rio Rico, AZ. The Chico workshop broadened the audience to include additional stakeholders and built upon the ideas generated at Rio Rico.
