Deer
Both mule deer (Odocoileus hemionus) and white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus) reside in Yellowstone National Park. Widely dispersed throughout the park during the summer, most of the mule deer winter outside the park. Although the white-tailed deer is the most common deer species in North America, it has never been abundant in Yellowstone.
Report A Sighting of these species.
