Researcher Profile

 

Originally from Texas, Meadow moved to Missoula in 2000 where he worked in the field of ecological restoration and attended U of M.  He graduated with a B.S. in Forestry and Resource Conservation in 2007.  Since 2007, he has been working with Catherine Zabinski at Montana State University toward a PhD in Ecology and Environmental Sciences dealing with geothermal soil ecology and microbiology.  After graduation, James plan to seek out a post-doctoral position to continue the soil metagenomics work that he was able to begin with the help of the Boyd Evison Fellowship.
