Grand Teton National Park’s archives contain records of permanent value to the park. The decision to include a document in a national park’s archive is determined by NPS19, the records disposition schedule for the National Park Service. A park may include other items of historical, evidentiary, or documentary value in their archive based on their Scope of Collection Statement. The statement for Grand Teton includes guidelines for collecting mountaineering and land acquisition records because of their unique significance to the park.
