The University of Wyoming-National Park Service (UW-NPS) Research Center is a cooperative effort between the University of Wyoming and the National Park Service. The primary function of the Research Station is to promote excellence in research by furnishing housing, laboratory space, transportation, equipment, and financial support to enable investigators in the biological, physical and social sciences to access the rich and diverse environments of Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, Bridger-Teton and Targhee National Forest and the Gros Vente and Teton Wilderness Areas.
Greater Yellowstone Coordinating Committee
The Greater Yellowstone Coordinating Committee (GYCC) was formed between the National Park Service and US Forest Service in 1964 through a signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The MOU provides for mutual cooperation and coordination in the management of core federal lands in the Greater Yellowstone area. The MOU was again revised in 2002 to reflect the inclusion of the US Fish and Wildlife Service on the Coordinating Committee.

Canon's funding for Eyes on Yellowstone, through a unique partnership with the Yellowstone Park Foundation and Yellowstone National Park, helps make possible innovative scientific research, endangered species protection, and the application of cutting-edge technology essential to managing park ecosystems. It represents the largest-ever corporate donation for wildlife conservation in Yellowstone National Park.
The Yellowstone Park Foundation is the official fundraising partner of Yellowstone National Park. We work in cooperation with the National Park Service to fund projects and programs that protect, preserve, and enhance the natural and cultural resources and the visitor experience of Yellowstone. This can only be accomplished with the support of Friends of Yellowstone!
Greater Yellowstone Science Learning Center
The Greater Yellowstone Science Learning Center is a portal to information about the natural and cultural resources of Yellowstone and Grand Teton (including John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway) national parks and Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area. By reporting on what has been learned from research and monitoring in these parks, we hope to increase public awareness of new findings and encourage studies that will help guide park management decisions. The National Park Service has set up Research Learning Centers as public-private partnerships that promote the sharing of scientific knowledge about the parks.
